  • Big Magic By Elizabeth Gilbert
    A passionate manifesto about giving it a go and living more creatively every day. What I like about this book is that it is a call to old school pragmatism, to just do it. It’s a book about living, about forgetting what others think and encourages trying things for no other purpose than for bringing you joy.

    A great free app for beginners looking to develop a meditation or mindfulness practice, and also for experienced practitioners to support your existing meditation practice. Start with the 12 day program, and then try the 30 day challenge, or just do it all at your own pace. It uses very subtle background music, is Australian, you can pick if you want the sessions read by a man or a woman, and it has a whole suite of video answers to questions about meditation.
